As Paul closes out his Epistle to the Philippians, he commends their faithful generosity to him. Although Paul is grateful, he shares from his heart that he does not seek the gift that they offer - but the blessing that they will receive. Paul has become established in the true contentment that can only come from life in Christ. He has learned to not be moved by his circumstances because his satisfaction comes from knowing Christ and putting his complete trust in Him. May we learn to live in the contentment that only Christ can give.
