In John 15:9-14, Jesus shares that He has loved the disciples as the Father loved Him. The love of the Father for Jesus was the inspiration for all that He did. We too live our life for Him from the foundation of His love for us. Just as the fruit that He brought forth was born out of His intimate relationship of love with the Father - so it is with us. True fruit will come from our deep intimacy with Him. We were designed for this.
