In the Lord's prayer, when Jesus said, "Give us this day our daily bread", He was speaking about so much more than our natural daily provision. He is the bread of life and He was instructing us to come to Him every day for our spiritual sustenance. We are completely dependent on Him and He alone can provide us with the manna needed to live today - and the days to come.
