When Jesus was asked by His disciples to teach them to pray, He started with "Our Father". Jesus talked about the Father more than any other subject in the Gospels. He came specifically to reveal the Father to us and bring us into the family of God. The revelation of the goodness of the Father is foundational to our life of prayer.
